Bruce Poropat is a technical communicator (content strategist, UX writer, technical writer) based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a senior member of the Society for Technical Communication and has spoken at conferences around the United States on remedial documentation, minimalist prose, plain language, and other topics. For nearly a decade, he has served as a judge in the Touchstone Technical Communications Competition.

He has worked on complex user experience and documentation projects for Uber, University of California, Bank of the West, Charles Schwab, Williams-Sonoma, Gap, Safeway, Wells Fargo, Safeway, ERG, Caltrans, Port of Oakland, Zip Realty, and others.
